Position Summary:
We have an exciting new opportunity in our Scottsdale, Arizona location! In this position you will work cross-functionally with internal and external partners to ensure highest quality performance within the Government Reporting team. In this Advisor position you will use critical thinking, problem solving and analytic skills to ensure compliance with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) mandated reporting requirements and ensure best-in-class performance.
Support of internal and external partners includes:
· Lead annual review of CMS Reporting Requirements and Technical Specifications to ensure that changes are communicated to report owners and risk is identified and communicated appropriately.
· Partner with internal Client Audit team to coordinate annual CMS Data Validation audit.
· Drive audit readiness activities for all HPMS report owners and ensure successful execution of audit interviews and follow-up activities.
· Collaborate with Government Affairs and key stakeholders to create client communications and ensure timely delivery in compliance with standard service agreement requirements.
· Act as liaison between CVS Health and CMS to resolve questions or issues.
· Maintain document library to ensure optimum adherence with department standards and audit requirements.
· Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and drive program efficiency.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) with 3+ years of work experience with health care industry regulatory guidance or 5+ years related experience in regulatory or compliance environment.
Strong project management skills and multitasking abilities
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, VBA and PowerPoint
Experience with handling privacy/confidentiality—physical and electronic security of Protected Health Information (PHI)
Can quickly identify and escalate issues in a constructive manner to the appropriate resource
Exceptional prioritization and organizational skills
Acts with integrity and uses sound judgment in dealing with confidential information

Preferred Qualifications:
Problem solving skills with a focus on seeking new ideas, and/or approaches to solutions and process improvements
Positive, team-oriented attitude and approach to getting work done
Comfortable in both team player and team lead roles
Confident in decision making ability within strict timelines


Bachelors degree required.
