POSITION SUMMARY
Under direction of the Radiology Shift Coordinator, performs a variety of radiographic procedures in the Angio Suite and the duties of a Staff Technologist in Radiology.
Reports To: Radiology Shift Coordinator / Director of Radiology
Supervises: None

Qualifications:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Licensure/ Certification/Registration:

  • • ARRT
  • • CRT
  • • CPR
  • • Fluoroscopy Permit

Education:

  • • AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.

Experience:

  • Two years as a Special Procedures Technologist.

Special Qualifications:

  • • Knowledge of angiographic procedures and nursing in emergency care, medications and EKG.
  • • Ability to monitor and operate radiographic and computer equipment.
  • • Thorough knowledge of special procedures, patient care, and sterile technique.
  • • Ability to motivate and direct staff and work harmoniously with all personnel and physicians.
