SOA Application Architect

Position Summary:
The SOA Application Architect provides industry leading technical direction, architecture road maps and guidance to the application development teams to ensure appropriate and cost effective application of CVS/Caremark approved technologies.

As an integral team member your responsibilities are:

  • Ensuring effective data integration across multiple applications, including the Specialty legacy application.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of 3-5 developers.
  • Collaborating across different enterprise teams to bring together ideas and gain consensus for the technical direction.
  • Clearly articulate and present the technology road maps to all internal business partners.
  • You are instrumental inrepresenting the Specialty application team, leading relationships withenterprise architecture, technical infrastructure and application architects ofother domains.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years IT/IS experience as a hands-on Senior Developer including (2 to 3 years as an architect).

  • Minimum of 2 years experience with most (if not all) of the following: SOA, MicroServices (AWS / Netflix model),
    Angular JS (preferable version 2), TOGAF / FEAF, CI/CD DevOps, Component based end to end development, Full Stack, Containers, JBOSS, BPM experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ year’s development experience in solution design, architecture and application development (SDLC) including
    experience participating in multiple technical project teams on multiple concurrent projects/programs.

  • Experience with the following technologies: Oracle database structures, Data Modeling, Data Profiling.

  • Understanding of Healthcare, PBM Business, Specialty Medical Claims a plus.

Bachelor's degree In computer science or equivalent. Will accept 1 year for every year degree is not completed of equivalent work experience in addition to years of required experience within the architectural space.
