Application Data Management - Product Steward

The Role: As a member of the Applications and Data Management team, the Product Steward (PS) is responsible for maintaining system controls through various system user interfaces and system documentation. The PS will have subject matter expertise in the application of bank systems to meet the needs of the business units they support. Working with cross functional teams from the Business, IT and Consumer Deposit Operations, the PS will participate in the design of solutions for new business capabilities or modification to existing business capabilities based on business need and intent. The PS should be able to communicate to senior leadership on their efforts.
Responsibilities: - Working with the Product Owner and Technology teams, serve as a voice of the business customer to help translate business intent into Features and Stories that are understood by the agile team - Helps the team gain access to expert stakeholders - Help to educate agile team in the business domain/function - Ensures proven business analysis, process methodology and best practices are primary drivers for solution design - Partner with Process, Change & Delivery in the development of key process documents and training materials needed to prepare associates for new product capabilities coming online - Perform post-release validations for capabilities / enhancements of intent they owned - Manage backlog of technical debt, defects, and platform health investments needed to maintain a stable and resilient platform - Actively participate in the agile team activities and ceremonies
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree, Equivalent Certification or Military experience - 3+ Years of process management experience - 1+ years working in Agile business environment - Proficiency in MS Office
Preferred Qualifications: - Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project management certification - 2+ years of experience in Process Management - 2+ years working in Fraud or a role that worked with Fraud, Disputes, and/or Collections/Recoveries - 2+ years working in Technology or role working with Technology - Proficiency in Jira and/or VersionOne
