In this position, you will be serving as a senior technical resource on the Global Reverse Logistics, Global Technical Support team. This team is responsible for development and deployment of technical solutions to support Intel's business units to maintain a positive customer experience in the integration of Intel Architecture products, and to provide tools to minimize negative customer and overall cost impact for defective Intel Architecture product. The team supports a multitude of software, data, and diagnostic products to achieve this goal.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Using your expertise in mathematics, statistics and technology to propose, design and develop solutions for complex business and technical issues faced by GTS and our customers.
Implementing software and hardware solutions to enable new products and eliminate test-hole exposure.
Responsible for designing, developing and deploying test diagnostics in the GRL/GTS environment to decrease exposure of customers returning good material as defective.
Performing Design of Experiment (DOE) verification and validation primarily on the test diagnostics and hardware by evaluating potential root causes, (through standard structured problem solving methods), applying potential corrective actions, collecting relevant data, evaluating results, validating closure or making required adjustments.
Benchmarking internal developed tools against other customer and industry diagnostics.
Master's of Science degree in Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Technology, Statistics or the equivalent.
3-5 years' experience in the development of diagnostics for Intel Architecture CPU, platform, or embedded systems.
Heavy emphasis on using advanced mathematics to create algorithms for complex problems.
