Position Description
Manage production support for Morgan Stanley Financial Advisor Desktop applications framework, Morgan Stanley Research Applications and FA Mobile applications. Work with application developers, infrastructure organization, and business partners located in New York. Manage defect resolution, ensure operational efficiency in the groups responsibilities, and coordinate stability programs and participating in strategic process improvements for applications. Lead a team of technical SME-S managing the stability and optimization of the Wealth Management advisor desktop framework. Assist in defining and configuration of real time monitoring of various application and infrastructure components. Review and revise disaster recovery plans yearly. Analyze incident trends, identify patterns and root cause of issues, and coordinate with teams to resolve issues. Work with senior management to address any capacity needs proactively. Design, adapt and implement various Change, Risk related initiatives in the Production environment for the supported applications. Ensure all processes and procedures are being followed at all times to comply with regulatory and audit requirements.

Required Skills
MINIMUM Education Requirement: Bachelors degree of engineering or a related field of study
MINIMUM Experience Requirement: 8 years

Special Skills
Requires five (5) years of experience in financial services support. Requires two (2) years of experience in international wealth management systems for business functions including portfolio accounting, and FA facing application support. Requires two (2) years of management experience of international teams in financial services. Requires demonstrated experience in change incident management, risk management, and projects involving production environment changes. Requires three (3) years of experience in .NET, Unix, Scripting, SQL, and integrating systems.
