Application Support Manager

Manages application and production support activities for all major systems and related Java based applications to ensure the integrity of computer-generated data. Handles application support issues in the assigned portfolio, regulatory requirements for portfolio, and participates in projects that impact portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises daily activities of production control and computer personnel to ensure timely and effective reporting, tracking, follow-up and communication of problems with the user community. 

• Ensures accuracy and timeliness of all batch processing and report distribution and batch job documentation prior to implementation into production. 

• Develops and maintains service-level agreements with user departments and business units. Participates in project work to support business initiatives, as needed.

• Ensures accuracy and timeliness of all batch processing and report distribution and batch job documentation prior to implementation into production.

• Develops and maintains service-level agreements with business units, responsible for monthly Incident Dashboards .

• Ensures accuracy of all information entered into the production scheduling systems and the distribution database; ensures accuracy and timeliness of information entered into the problem management system.

Basic Qualifications:

  •  Bachelors Degree or Military experience
  •  At least 3 years of experience in support Java and Oracle and AWS based applications
  • At least 3 least of experience providing Application Stability
  • At least 3 least of experience providing Application Stability

    Streamlining and Maturing Support Process

Preferred Qualifications:

  •  2+ years of experience with ITIL Service Management
  •  2+ years of experience with AIX or Linux
  •  2+ years of experience working with Weblogic or Apache Servers
  •  2+ years of experience working with Oracle Servers and Oracle Goldengate
  • 2+ years of experience working with F5 Load Balancers
