Oracle Primavera is a global business unit inside of Oracle that focuses on Portfolio and Project management software. We cover the gauntlet of all other aspects associated with portfolio and project management software. Our software is used for the management of some of the largest projects in the world. 'Primavera' is the standard in project management software. We have teams in Pennsylvania, California, Colorado, Oregon, UK, and India. We develop enterprise level software which uses the latest and greatest Oracle technologies.

Job Description:

You will work as part of a small team that analyzes and looks into top issues and is a critical piece of our flagship product's success.
You will have the ability to debug, and you should enjoy troubleshooting and problem solving. You will also be determining which new technologies should be adopted for security, performance, and improved functionality in this product, and will be responsible for investigating new technologies and making recommendations. Included in our P6 Flagship Product include API's, Web Services, and Integrations. You will have influence on how this product works and grows in the Cloud. Team size here is between 5-10. This is an excellent time to join our growing team!


• Extensive Java development experience
• Ability to analyze product requirements and determine proper application behavior
• Java script, SQL and Database experience a plus
• Work in an Agile environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Cloud experience a plus
Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
