We are the team building the next generation Oracle Sales Cloud Applications on iPhone, iPad, Android & Windows Mobile platforms.

The mobile landscape is changing at a rapid pace and Enterprise Mobile Applications are becoming both strategic and imperative offering for many customers.

Oracle Sales Cloud Mobile Applications enables enterprise Sales teams to seamlessly move from on-line/connected applications to a mobile, occasionally connected mode with access to data and processes that maximize the effectiveness of their roles within the enterprise. These "always available", composite applications are process-oriented interactions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the users.

As a Principal Application Engineer, you get to :

Requirements :

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science
15 years of server side development.

Strong programming skills - Java.
Excellent knowledge of design patterns, OO, ER modeling, and UML
Knowledge of HTTP, J2EE, JSF, ADF, BPEL, SOA, Servlets and SQL
Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, databases, and system concepts
Familiar with Mobile Application Development
Complete product development life-cycle experience with good software engineering skills.
Ability to understand business concepts and processes is a requisite
Successful track record showing excellence and creativity
Ability to lead a team and guide them through the design and development process
Participate in Technical Discussions and contribute effectively to architectural and technical decisions
Qualifications:
Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Create new architecture for a moderate size product or a portion of a major product. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
