Fusion Customer Data Management (CDM), part of Oracle Cloud Applications Organization, is designed to manage enterprise wide trading community information. It
provides unified schema & services (Trading Community Model) and set of tools (Trading Community Data Quality, Trading Community Hub & Trading Community
Policies) to consolidate, cleanse and enrich trading community information. All Fusion applications will use these products for storing and accessing trading
community information centrally e.g. information about customers, suppliers, individual consumers, company contacts. These set of products are better known in
the industry and inside Oracle as Trading Community Architecture or TCA.
This vacancy is for an Architect / Seinor Principal Apps Engineer to join the CDM Foundation Team (TCA) within the Oracle Sales Cloud Organization. In this
role, you will be primarily responsible for designing the features of the foundation layer of the next generation Customer Data Management (TCA) solution which
is part of Oracle's Fusion MDM solution suite. Responsibilities include Functional / Technical Design , Matrix with Product Management, QA , Release
As part of the product development team, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with
developing, debugging or designing cloud software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements
within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact
with senior management. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product
development. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
Education: BS in Computer Science, MS/PhD preferred.
Experience: 12 years industry experience with atleast 2 years or more in an architect role. Candidate is expected to be hands-on in his/her current/recent
J2EE: In depth knowledge in J2EE technologies, in particular, Java, JDBC, JSP and Servlets.
Web: In depth knowledge in Web technologies, in particular, HTTP, HTML, XML
Database: In depth knowledge in database technologies, in particular, SQL PL/SQL and relational data modeling.
Tools: Development experience with JDeveloper or any other J2EE IDE is a must.
Applications: Development experience with any E-Business Suite/Siebel/Peoplesoft/Fusion applications is a plus.
General: Ability to lead small to medium size teams & deliver quality projects; Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; excellent verbal and written
communication skills; ability to function in a demanding environment;
Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Create new architecture for a moderate size product or a portion of a major product. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
