Apps Programmer/Analyst 3

Job Description

Provides technical support and basic development for computer applications and programs. Uses diagnostic tools and/or analyzes and uses vendor specifications to troubleshoot complex computer application problems to maintain or restore service or data to programs, leads the resolution of complex issues or escalates as needed to meet established service level agreements. Completes required logs and reports. Prepares programming specifications and completes programming tasks to develop basic, and/or assist in the development of moderately complex, computer solutions. Performs modeling, simulations and analysis. Prepares program test data, tests and debugs programs. Updates and completes documentation, procedures and user guides. Understands BCP, quality, security and compliance requirements for supported areas and analyzes changes for risk to the environment. Participates in

testing and updating the business continuation plan. Provides assistance and guidance to less experienced staff.

The ESQA team works in close collaboration with business analysts, designers, and developers, from the project definition stage, through development, and final deployment into production. We employ rigorous methodologies to identify and resolve ambiguities, and to design and execute tests, and certify code. The team supports numerous applications with different technology stacks including:

  • StoreVision Teller (SVT)Stores / StoreVision Platform (SVP)
  • Contact Center Technologies
  • Digital Channels Technologies
  • Enterprise Business Services

In this position, we are looking for a junior level Application Programming Analyst/QA Analyst to join the SVP (StoreVision Platform) testing team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the current SVP QA team and application partners to support ongoing projects for the banker platform.

Location: Charlotte, NC or Chandler, AZ

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • 3+ years of HP ALM experience
  • 3+ years of Quality Center experience
  • 3+ years of financial analysis experience
  • 3+ years of financial industry experience
  • 1+ year of Hogan experience
  • 3+ years of XML (Extensible Markup Language) experience
  • 4 + years of automation or regression testing experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 2+ years of Web Services experience
  • UI (User Interface) experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of UI (User Interface)
  • Experience with retail banking system user acceptance testing including, but not limited to, Store Vision Teller (SVT), Store Vision Platform (SVP), Mobile, ATM, Online Banking
  • A BS/BA degree or higher

Job Expectations

  • Flexibility to frequently be on call beyond normal working hours
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
