In your role as an Accounts Receivable Operations Intern for GE Capital, Industrial Finance, Working Capital Solutions, you will be responsible for supporting the collection operations related to a specific GE portfolio. Some responsibilities will vary depending on the portfolio you support.
+ Assist and support the Accounts Receivable Manager and Subject Matter Experts within the Collections function.
+ Further research and resolve past due/billing issues on complex accounts that have resulted in delinquent payment.
+ Review aging reports and initiate calls to customers with past-due balances to arrange for payment.
+ Forecast cash collections, evaluating and escalating issues to appropriate internal and external contacts.
+ Perform routine accounting reconciliations, reduce account aging, and establish clear and concise communications; participate in presentations of account receivables information.
+ Analyzing and presenting data.
+ Provide reporting analytics to the AR Manager to ensure compliance guidelines are being met.
+ Assist with projects involving the global WCS intern team.
Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in progress in Business, Statistics, Computer Information, or related discipline
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Power Point
+ GPA of 3.0 or higher
+ Must be willing to work 20+ hours per week Monday - Friday during the summer & school year
+ Must be able to commit to a 10 to 12-month internship. Eligibility Qualifications:
