Based out of our King of Prussia (PA) office, the Product Architect is a hands-on engineering position reporting directly to the AVP, Product Development. The position is within the Value-based Payments team, architecting and delivering on the next generation analytics solution of HealthQx product. The Architect will work closely and collaborate with the business, enterprise architecture team and technology management to ensure that the product roadmap, initiatives, and goals are accomplished and align with our strategic plans.

  • Architect and design high-volume and highly scalable software solutions
  • Provides strategic alignment by owning the technology roadmap, collaborating in conjunction with Innovation wing of the organization and with peer development leaders
  • Plays a player-coach role on architecture, design, and development
  • Excited to work with significant amount of healthcare data, with a broad focus on retrospective analysis and modeling predictive analytics
  • Guide/design and collaborate on system integrations
  • Continually improve architectural efficiencies, including the end-to-end processing of HealthQx analytics
  • Produce proof of concept designs/models
  • Partnering with DevOps, determine strategy for further improvements of the SaaS model and public cloud utilization
  • Provides mentoring and assistance to team members
  • Perform design and code reviews as part of the agile development process
  • Assist in determination of new tools and technology
  • Follow/develop software development industry best practices adopted by the business unit



Qualifications



Minimum Requirements
12 years experience in software engineering and/or software architecture

5 years architecture

Critical Skills

Strong Microsoft stack expertise, including but not limited to, .Net, C#, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS

Experience with big data technologies including PolyBase, Hadoop, Apache Spark, and Kafka

Extensive experience developing multi-tier applications

Operational experience deploying, monitoring and supporting an enterprise solution

Experience with agile methodologies

Exceptional troubleshooting skills to root cause complex issues

Experience with public cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services

Understanding the nuances of the healthcare claim data is preferred

A polyglot, experimenting with different tools and technologies, even as side fun projects

Expertise with machine learning concepts and tooling

Must interface effectively with all levels of management as well a diverse technical team

Ability to build relationships and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve results in a self-empowered environment
