Overview:

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced home health care sales leader to fill the role of Director of Area Sales for our Medicare licensed offices located from Boston to Northern New Jersey.The territory will include Hudson County, NJ,  Connecticut , Rhode Island, Worcester, MA, Quincy, MA, and Newton, MA territories. 

 

We are seeking an energetic, entrepreneurial individual who understands the importance of relationships and knows how to build them.  

 

The successful candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years sales experience within a Medicare certified home care environment. Experience managing sales staff in multi-sites is also required.  The Director of Area Sales will have responsibility for a territory consisting of multiple Medicare Certified home care offices as well as a Hosp[ice office. On-going travel (75-80%) throughout this territory is required. 

 

Responsibilities:

As Director of Area Sales, you will serve as mentor and sales coach to office directors and marketing teams, consisting of Account Managers and Clinical Liaisons.  Responsibilities include market analysis, developing marketing strategy, goals and plans, and evaluating results and effectiveness of sales activity.  The Director of Area Sales will also develop sales training programs and materials, and orient new sales and marketing staff.  The Director of Area Sales will accompany office sales staff on sales calls, support business development activities, and help establish strong relationships with new and existing referral sources.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5+ years home care and hospice sales experience and/or pharmaceutical sales.
  • 3+ years experience managing sales and account management professionals.
  • Demonstrated success in establishing relationships, managing a book of business and increasing referrals and revenue.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Medicare rules for home care is required.
  • Experience developing sales training and mentoring tools.
  • Prior experience conducting comprehensive market analysis and strategic planning.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%-80%.
