Job Description
As part of Intel, we will continue to apply Moore's Law to drive the future of field-programmable gate array (FPGA) technology. The Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) has been delivering industry-leading custom logic solutions to customers since inventing the world's first reprogrammable logic device in 1984. In order to take advantage of the many opportunities that we see in the future for FPGA's, PSG is looking for great ASIC Design Engineers to join our team.

In this position, you will be a member of the platform IP development team in Intel's Programmable Solutions Group. You will be responsible for developing the platform IP such as PCI Express using Intel's latest technologies. You will work in a dynamic team dealing with projects which enable data center applications. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to developing hardware features in RTL using Verilog / SystemVerilog, RTL simulation, logic optimization, synthesis, and timing closure.

Qualifications

  • BSEE, BSCE, or related
  • 2 years of Verilog and/or SystemVerilog experience
  • 2 years ASIC development experience
  • 2 years of experience with RTL coding, synthesis, STA (Static Timing Analysis), LEC (Logical Equivalence Check)
  • Experience with scripting languages such as TCL, Perl, or Python

Preferred Qualifications
  • MSEE, MSCE, or related
  • 5 years of Verilog and/or SystemVerilog experience
  • 5 years of ASIC development experience
  • 5 years of experience with RTL coding, synthesis, STA, LEC
  • FPGA development experience using Intel/Altera Quartus II software or Xilinx Vivado
  • Experience with PCI Express interface protocol
