We are seeking a Client-Facing Software Engineer for our Emeryville, CA office. This position will provide daily technical support to the assigned client(s). The Support will consist of daily consultation with the client; trouble shooting; resolution of technical issues and service to the Aspera automation software.
The ideal candidate will possess strong software development skills with demonstrated experience in building scalable web applications using Java, Ruby, C, C++ and prior work experience in a client-facing IT position. This position will support Aspera's customer engagement with major movie studies, telecommunication companies and media organizations.
• Provide daily technical support to assigned client(s);
• Creates and executes technical check-lists and processes to facilitate the maintenance of the Aspera product;
• Analyzes technical issues and develops solutions which will minimize risk and ensure successful deployment of the software solution;
• Collaborate with Project Management and Team Lead to deliver effective results.
