Currently, Aspera has a Release Project Manager opportunity in their Emeryville, CA office. This position will have responsibility for the coordination and management of the Aspera systems integration into IBM. This role will be the primary interface for scope, schedule, stakeholder, change, risk and integration management across the full software development lifecycle for systems integration; will work closely with all functional teams within Aspera and IBM to ensure successful deliverables are on schedule and to specifications.

Aspera is a driven team that must continue to have the flexibility to satisfy the customer needs as well as determine how to implement some of the IBM release processes such as fulfilling through Passport Advantage, executing the IBM open source clearance process, Clearing House, implementing the IBM International Program License Agreement (IPLA) license, etc.

The ideal candidate will have experience with IBM software development processes and can assist Aspera transition through the bluewash phase and then to the full IBM Product Management Operating Model (PMOM) and Development checklist processes. In addition, they will need to understand the priorities and where the tradeoffs can be made. This position reports to the Development Integration Lead as part of the acquisition integration.
