POSITION: Assembler I
Position will go 60 days, possibly longer depending on business needs.
Shift: M-F, 5:55 AM to 2:30 PM with mandatory overtime on most Saturdays (5:55 AM to 11 AM).
The Assembler I is responsible for following procedures for product assembly/fabrication, equipment operation and safety requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform repetitive line assembly operations to mass-produce a product or products. Accomplish various production assembly functions that are somewhat complicated in nature. Assemble products or sub-assemblies according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams. Operate hand tools, power tools, or production equipment. Using hand tools and air tools, fits various parts together, such as pumps, motors, un-loader and others, and produces a pressure washer or water cleaning system.
Bore holes in the chassis for final assembly when needed using air drills.
Position parts in specified opening and screws or bolts them in place.
May assemble electrical components and wiring. Read electrical diagrams and troubleshoot. May do plumbing.
Maintain a clean work area. Work area housekeeping before going home.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• Prefer high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Manufacturing/production experience preferred.
• Must have mechanical experience using hand tools.
•Prior manufacturing/production experience
• Consent to Background Screening
• Consent to Drug Screening
