¿ Follows all pertinent company Standard Operation Procedures (SOP).
¿ Reviews SOPs to determine required assembly finish on product and any special option.
¿ Checks stock bins for adequate supplies of sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners for the particular shop order.
¿ Checks for designated carton pack.
¿ Contacts group leader or supervisor if shortages, incorrect parts or non-conforming materials are in bins.
¿ Checks operating controls and safety stops on machines.
¿ Check power and hand tools for correct operation.
¿ Starts up, operates, and shuts down equipment in line with company safety procedures for equipment under power.
¿ Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and sub-assemblies, per shop order.
¿ Packs finished product into designated carton, and inserts pre-printed materials in carton of each finished product.
¿ Completes production reporting following company guidelines. Keeps record of time spent and material used.
¿ Maintains acceptable output average to specific production standards.
