Supporting both functions related to MetLife Investment Management’s (“MIM”) third party institutional investments business and Global Investment Operations, this Asset Management Analyst will be part of the Planning and Oversight Office and responsible for managing several projects and providing fast-paced information among several sub-groups managing MIM’s business, including the Institutional Client Group, Client Services, Transformation Management Office, Corporate Risk Management and key partners such as portfolio managers and asset sectors specialists, the Law Department and Compliance. This Asset Management Analyst will also be responsible for creating presentation materials for senior leaders, work on a variety of key special projects, have keys roles in SOX compliance and SSAE16 audit reports, and will provide ongoing assistance and support on several global growth initiatives for the MIM business.



  • Manage certain critical relationships with consultants and vendors, internal end users and administer overall vendor management program consistent with enterprise policies and oversight protocols, develop scorecards and monitoring processes to ensure critical and major vendors are appropriately evaluated and key performance indicators are appropriately tracked.
  • Partner with cross functional internal stakeholders to facilitate regulatory and operational audits conducted by independent third-party firms, such as the SSAE16, manage key aspects of audits and responsible for ensuring that audit requirements are met and necessary information is provided in timely manner.
  • Liaise with department partners to help monitor firm’s SOX compliance program, monitor identity and access management program, help manage scorecard analytics relating to business processes and controls, manage privacy issues and related business information security concerns.
  • Arrange meetings, develop agendas and track progress reports of various special projects and/or phases of larger projects. Design, implement and monitor progress of initiatives, milestones and budgets to ensure timeliness and deliverables are met.
  • Act as point of contact for coordinating informational needs between headquarters and regional offices in Latin America, Europe and Asia for various MIM and Global Investment Operation matters.
  • Produce presentation materials for town halls, external presentations and internal senior presentations, on an as needed basis.


  • 4-6 years of work experience at an investment management organization or financial services firm.
  • Deep understanding of institutional investment management products, particularly U.S. private funds and separately managed accounts preferred.
  • Strong quantitative skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
  • Knowledge of SEC rules, in particular the Investment Adviser’s Act and broker dealer rules.
  • Experience in an investment management enterprise, preferably in firms with global reach and presence within the US, Europe and Asia.
  • Ability to manage large scale projects independently and deliver timely results. 
  • Risk management and/or SOX experience a strong plus.
