Assistant Director - Agency and Broker Analytics

The individual in this position will have the unique opportunity to gain valuable insight into our company and our key distribution partners, by working directly with Brokers/VIP agents, The Hartford's Business Segments and Field Offices. This position plays an integral role in fulfilling client needs and requests and is a main point of contact for National Client Practices for several critical internal organizations, including but not limited to Sales Performance Analytics, Licensing and Contracting and Agency Compensation.

  • Broker / VIP Results Management: Review, monitor, analyze and communicate overall production & financial performance of brokers and VIPs
  • Lead NCP Project Management: Develop project plans on tactical initiatives to include defining goals and objectives, identifying task and how goals will be achieved, quantifying the resources needed and determining timelines for completion. These initiatives will support the long-term strategic plans for the national clients
  • Work directly with NCP Client Managers on driving critical initiatives by p roviding support to AVPs on initiatives that drive profitable growth.
  • Assist in Development of Enterprise Documentations, Communications and Tools: Description: Designing and implementation of enterprise documents/templates, communication plans and tools for NCP. The ability to consistently produce a high-quality product within a specific timeframe is critical measure of success

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of related experience in an insurance company, bank, financial institution, accounting, brokerage, or consulting firm. P&C insurance experience a plus
  • Proven experience with business, financial, and strategic analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, including ability to work in a matrixed environment
  • Comfort level working with management on high-level, confidential, and time-sensitive projects. This role requires working within short timeframes and meeting critical deadlines
  • Ability to understand and manage expectations of business partners and provide a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and data mining skills
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking capabilities that enable the ability to synthesize multiple points of information
  • Ability to work independently but also collaborate with other team members
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint preferred
