AUS operates from over 200 locations nationwide and has an immediate opportunity for an Assistant General Manager in South Bend, IN

This position is designed to train and develop the employee to the role of General Manager within 12-18 months (depending on training and position availability). The General Manager has full management responsibilities over a location's operation.

Responsibilities :
Working along with the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager will aid in the following (including but not limited to):
  • Ensuring profitability and efficient operation of the Service Department
  • Driving growth and aiding in the retention of existing and potential customers
  • Maintaining the Market Center's total managed volume
  • Using strategic and leadership skills to facilitate employee selection, development, retention, motivation, and strong customer relationships
  • Ensuring compliance with contracts and company policies and procedures
  • Building partnerships with sales team to attract new customers
  • Analyzing reports and initiate proper corrective actions for unacceptable trends
  • Developing and motivating the service team, including assisting in the growth and development of our District Managers and Route Sales Representatives

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Three or more years of service and route-based industry experience with a proven track record for growing accounts
  • Demonstrated success in operations management in a production facility or manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical and process management skills
  • Significant customer interface and service responsibilities
  • Considerable negotiation skills and computer proficiency
  • Travel within the region is required
  • Must be open to relocation for advancement opportunities
  • A valid driver's license
  • Successful completion of Criminal Background, Motor Vehicle Record, and Drug Screen checks
