This position is designed for a new college hire, candidates must be recent college graduates and have graduated within 12 months of the position start date.

The Assistant Scientist will support SMP/Technical Assurance for a broad range of consumer products such as Skin Care, Beauty Care, Baby Care, Oral Care, and Topical Health Care from a manufacturability and reformulation standpoint. This individual will collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, Quality Assurance, and Research and Development (R&D) to identify improvement opportunities and resolve issues with products and processes. The scope of work includes reformulation, process development/improvement, and manufacturing plant support. This individual is expected to execute technical aspects of projects, report metrics, and interact with and/or lead cross-functional teams to implement projects. Additionally, the Assistant Scientist will work independently to drive technical resolutions in manufacturing and troubleshoot product issues under compressed timelines.
Candidates must be a new college hire, graduating no more than 12 months prior to their start date with a Bachelor’s degree in a technical major. Candidates majoring in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology and Physics are strongly preferred. The ideal candidate should possess previous co-op, internship or work experience and demonstrated leadership/participation in campus programs and/or community service activities. Candidate must have a minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA at the time of application.
