The Associate director, US Hematology Medical Affairs, plays a key role within the US organization, leading medical activities associated with key brands such as Vonvendi, FEIBA and Obizur with opportunities to work also with pipeline products. Strategic development and oversight of tactical implementation, spanning internal MA activities as well as for the field medical team, is critical to our success and will be an important component of this role. In serving as a cross-functional partner to commercial, regulatory, legal, patient-access etc., there is a broad opportunity to impact patients and the business. - Training/Previous work experience
- Doctoral level training required (MD, PhD, Pharm.D. or equivalent)
- Good understanding of critical processes in R&D in pharmaceutical environment (e.g. drug development and approval, clinical trials and investigator-initiated trial processes)
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations in the US
- 8-10 years of relevant experience and leadership expertise in Medical Affairs preferred
