Senior Associate, Brand & Consumer Marketing Analytics

Responsibilities Work closely with other marketing analytics staff and our business partners in Brand Marketing, Communications, and Product Marketing to empower their programs with data, analysis, and results Analytics for marketing strategy, targeting, generating dynamic marketing content, A/B test design, and downstream impact measurement: all to drive informed business decisions and member value Analyze, mash-up, and mine massive amounts of data to extract useful business insights Build machine learning models to discover lift opportunities in our engagement metrics Design & build business KPI dashboards and data visualizations to create leverage from the data Create and refine the necessary data architecture to support the visualizations & insights Design-in analysis efficiency using data workflows, automation, and tools Develop stories & presentations based on the analysis and drive business decisions
Basic Qualifications BS or MS degree in a quantitative discipline: Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, or related technical field 2+ years of industry analytics experience ideally within marketing areas such as brand, social, segmentation, consumer marketing, engagement, customer research, customer satisfaction, web analytics, attribution, funnel & marketing metrics Experience using data and analysis to inform & execute on marketing campaign strategy, instrumentation, test design, and downstream analysis Real-world experience using R or Python for data preparation, analysis, and machine learning Extensive experience working with SQL - basic to advanced Experience with Tableau, MS Power BI, or other data visualization and dashboard tools Experience with A/B testing and related statistical concepts Experience beyond the descriptive analytics, looking for predictive and prescriptive Passionate about understanding customers and their needs. Customer-first attitude. Passionate about empowering marketing teams to have impact on the business
Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of industry analytics experience ideally within the marketing areas listed above Experience with brand marketing & social media campaign attribution Experience in the analytics for multiple marketing channels, including email, social media, ads, SEM Experience in quantifying the connect between your company's value and customer needs Experience with ETL, building data workflow and data visualization automation Experience with Hadoop, Hive, Pig and data workflows Drive and discipline to do hard things Strong communication skills.
