Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of strategies and tactics that contribute to achieving revenue, incidence and share targets for the Coca-Cola Trademark. Be the key brand analyst for the team, turning data into actionable insights to drive brand love and brand value.
Candidate should bring/possess:
o Leadership skills and ability to steward brand initiatives designed to deliver Coca-Cola Trademark objectives through the path to purchase (consumer content to in-store execution)
o Passion for the brand and for the work of brand marketing
o A foundational but growing understanding of the consumer, bottler and retailer needs
o Ability to collect and synthesize consumer insights into actionable brand implications
o Growing ability to develop brand strategy based on key insights
o Analytical skills, and ability to use with proficiency the basic syndicated data tools
o Project management skills, including but not limited to budget and timeline management
o Strong competencies in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
o Team Orientation and a Desire to Win As a TEAM
Function Specific Activities:
o Support the overall team objective of increasing share of Coca-Cola TM within the Home Media occasion
o Serve as brand lead for key national sports toolkits, including NASCAR and Soccer
o Work with key partners and stakeholders to evaluate and develop opportunities to grow Coca-Cola TM incidence through mixing partnerships at retail
o Support Senior Brand Manager in development and execution of high-priority Coca-Cola Zero initiative
o Serve as TM point-of-contact managing relationships with key customers and bottlers
o Manage key brand analytics routines including Monthly Operating Business Reviews, weekly brand stewardship updates and ad hoc requests
o Assist with Monthly Message Management process for tracking Coca-Cola TM advertising
o Serve as an ambassador of Coca-Cola TM both within and outside the company
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
Master's Degree preferred
Related Work Experience:
2 or more years of experience in a brand management role required
o Syndicated Sources: Knowledge of syndicated sources (e.g., AC Nielsen, IRI, CCT+, Home Scan) used in the analysis of trended consumer and volume dynamics.
o Marketing Concepts: Knowledge of and ability to apply basic marketing concepts (e.g., brand positioning, brand architecture, SWOT Analysis, competitive assessment, marketing objectives/strategies, consumer segmentation) used in the development of marketing plans.
o Creative Concept Evaluation: Ability to evaluate creative concepts and executions based on creativity, strategic alignment and consumer impact.
o Retail Consumer Trends: Ability to interpret consumer trends in order to design, create or evaluate graphic packages to be applied to assortments of retail licensed merchandise.
o Financial Analysis: Knowledge of and the ability to use basic financial analysis (e.g., Return on Investment, Value Chain Analysis) related to marketing effectiveness, resource allocations and new business opportunities.
o DRIVE INNOVATION: Generate new or unique solutions and embrace new ideas that help sustain our business (encompassing everything from continuous improvement to new product and package innovation).
o COLLABORATE WITH SYSTEM, CUSTOMERS AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS: Develop and leverage relationships with stakeholders to appropriately stretch and impact the System (Company and Bottler).
