Position: Associate Development Chemist
Location: Shawnee, KS
Position Overview: Conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses in support of new product development and registration and product maintenance activities.
In-process, release, and stability testing of finished products
Maintain accurate and detailed records per cGMP and SOP requirements
Initiate and resolve laboratory investigations
Peer review of analytical documentation and data
Laboratory support activities
Education and Experience Desired:
BS in Chemistry or related scientific discipline
Minimum 2 years' experience in regulated research laboratory
Minimum 2 years' experience following GLP or cGMP (preferred) regulations and guidelines (e.g., FDA, VICH, USP/NF)
Laboratory equipment experience to include HPLC, Karl Fischer
Ability to work independently and follow standard procedures (e.g., SOPs, Test Methods)
Working knowledge of MS Office and Empower 3 (preferred)
