Real Estate Investments sources and manages commercial real estate investments through seven regional field offices in the U.S. and International field offices in London, Tokyo, Mexico City and Santiago.


The Loan Manager’s primary responsibilities include: loan closings, loan servicing, loan document negotiation, property inspections, on-going surveillance of current assets and risk rating of current loans.  Support the production staff with underwriting and the due diligence process, ensure accuracy and timeliness of all loan data, data flows and reporting, gatekeeper for ad-hoc requests. Work closely with the Law Department, third party servicers and the mortgage and equity teams.


  • Loan asset management and servicing matters including loan payoffs and prepayments, tenant estoppels, transfers, lease abstracts and reviews, SNDA’s, reserves and escrows, easements, tracking financial information, property inspections, and other borrower requests.
  • Support mortgage originators on new and refinance transactions and assist with documentation and closing of loans and post-closing items.
  • Team effectively with mortgage originators, third-party servicers, other loan managers and legal counsel to resolve loan management issues including risk management, insurance matters and cross portfolio loans.
  • Coordinate and manage cash managed loans via monthly waterfall, construction loan draw requests, earn-outs and capital requests.  As well as mortgage compliance initiatives.
  • Prepare/manage/assist with mortgage ratings including financial analysis, underwriting, and valuation of the underlying commercial real estate.


  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable business related field; MBA preferred.
  • Strong legal skill set.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • Highly efficient in valuation modeling (Argus) and loan management systems.
  • Understands federal regulatory law and an expert on clearing OFAC issues.
