Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products Company is looking to hire an Associate Director, Global Case Management to be located in Skillman, NJ. Up to 5% travel is required.

The Associate Director, Global Case Management supports management of Case Receipt , Case processing and Safety reporting functions and represents the Office of Consumer Medical Safety in end-to-end Case Management activities.  He / she will provide functional oversight of case management activities performed at contracted vendor organizations. This person will liaise with staff in OCMS, across various functions within the Consumer business as well as across other sectors   to facilitate compliant, timely and efficient end to end case management.

 
Responsibilities:
  •  Responsible for  oversight of vendor staff involved in Case Processing and Safety Reporting.
    • Oversee and support  vendor teams/personnel in daily activities relating to case processing activities, including management of day-to-day vendor activities and oversee key performance indicators to ensure quality and compliance to regulatory reporting requirements
    • Identifies and implements process efficiencies and continuous quality improvements to support business objective of cost efficient, sustainable and scalable end-to-end case management solution
    • Develop standard operating procedures, work instructions and training to support case management activities; ensure vendor is adequately trained
    • Develop corrective and preventative actions to address non-conformances                    ·           
    • Participates in recruitment of vendor staff
    • Partners with Vendor Oversight Lead to identifies resource needs and allocations to ensure appropriate functioning of vendor team
    • Provides oversight to vendor staff training needs to ensure all personnel trained within team, and is responsible for oversight of training compliance of vendor staff
  • Expertise in operation activities including case processing (or other functional expertise)
    • Contributes to development of processes  and project deliverables as identified
    • Collaborates with internal OCMS personnel to develop unified consistent processes
    • Collaborates with other J&J departments to clarify procedures
    • Participates in or leads local and international multidisciplinary functional teams
  • Supports Director of Global Case Management in audits and external inspections.
    • Performs  other related duties as required
    • Maintains compliance with company guidelines and HR policies
  • Provides subject matter expertise in Pharmacovigilance and global AE regulatory reporting requirements
  • Manages vendor relationship and resolves potential issues
  • Participates in cross-functional governance teams to ensure alignment of priorities among key business stakeholders
  • Resolve or escalate issues to management appropriately


Qualifications
  • A minimum of a bachelor degree is required
  • A Health-care professional background with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance or related industry activities is required.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a matrix environment and cross-functional teams is required
  • Working knowledge of AE safety databases to identify system enhancements and efficiencies is preferred
  • Practical knowledge of global regulatory pharmacovigilance requirements is required
  • Understanding of medical terminology and ability to summarize medical information is required
  • Experience working with SOPs is strongly preferred
  • Experience overseeing vendors is strongly preferred
  • Ability to view the "big picture" and understand impact of decision taken within the team or function is required.
