Reporting to the Site Technical Director, the Associate Director of GTO engineering is responsible for providing technical support in determining best method for providing optimum performance in equipment, systems, documentation, and asset utilization. Also responsible for process performance support and troubleshooting products manufactured/packaged at MMD-Wilson; Working closely with other sites and above-site groups for the introduction of new products, network transfers and processes to MMD-Wilson; Providing technical leadership and mentorship to Wilson Global Technical Operation engineering team (as an individual contributor).


Qualifications:
Education Minimum Requirement:

B.S. or M.S. or Ph.D. in Chemical or Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent.

Required Experience and Skills:

•B.S. min 10 years or M.S. min 8 years or Ph.D. min 3 years of chemical/mechanical experience in formulation development, pharmaceutical unit operations, or process design.
•Broad background in pharmaceutical and packaging.
•Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills.
•Excellent analytical and decision making ability.
•Strong written and oral communication ability.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

•Experience with Inhalation/granulation/bottle/blister/vaccine product manufacturing/packaging preferred.
•Experience with oral contraceptive and fertility drug manufacture and packaging preferred.
•Experience with medical device design preferred
•Experience with specification design of printed and non-printed packaging components
