The Associate Engineer will:
  • Provide engineering leadership in the design, development, and implementation of NPD and LCM processes
  • Partner with R&D to Design mechanisms and processes to scale a process up for production
  • Develop and review machinery specifications
  • Interface with Vendors/Suppliers and ensure project requirements are communicated and conformed to
  • To lead the development and implementation of sub-processes
  • Lead the troubleshooting efforts of machinery and processes during the development and implementation phases
  • Prepare developmental/qualification protocols and completion reports
  • Provide data analysis and recommendations from testing and development protocols


Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or similar) plus a minimum of an intern or co-op experience
  • Able to work in cross functional teams, strong  written and oral communication skills
  • Competent understanding of GMP’s and ISO 9001 standards is required
  • Basic understanding of root cause analysis required
  • Competent PC literacy including Minitab and CAD applications preferred
  • This position is located in Somerville, NJ and will require approximately 25% travel both domestic and international.
