Associate - Investor Reporting

Responsibilities:

  • Monthly Reporting to Investor(s)
  • Remit funds to Investor
  • Maintaining Custodial Account Balances
  • Research and Reconcile Custodial discrepancies
  • Collaborate with internal upstream and downstream business partners to identify process efficiencies
  • Maintain working relationship with Investor contacts in order to research and resolve reporting issues
  • Monitor and maintain internal controls to assure compliance within Investor requirements
  • Maintain system settings to adhere to investor rules and timelines
  • Serve as SME for team, represents team in internal/external meetings
  • Active in or lead most projects for the team
  • Learns and applies SLQ2CQ logic to maintain a well-managed process
  • Reviews and approves assigned files in manager’s absence

Key Performance Metrics:

  • Meets all Reporting requirements and timelines
  • Meets all Remitting requirements and timelines 
  • Maintains Custodial accounts to avoid any aged items or overdrafts
  • Positive Investor and Internal scorecard results 
  • Positive Internal and External audit results

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification, or Military experience
  • At least 1 year experience in Investor Reporting or Investor Accounting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • At least 3 year experience in Investor Reporting
  • At least 2 year experience within Mortgage Servicing in Investor Reporting or Investor Accounting
  • At least 2 year experience in reporting to Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac/Ginnie Mae
  • Experience in accounting role, or 4 year degree in Finance or Accounting
