ATM Kiosk Field Engineer

As an ATM Kiosk Field Engineer, you will:

  • Provide installation, maintenance and repairs on ATM (second line maintenance) and/or other electro-mechanical equipment at various distributed locations
  • Provide continuity of ATM field testing
  • Maintain ownership of all testing issues/needs that are voiced or observed and acts appropriately
  • Understand and perform the various test requirements and elevate or escalate issues when appropriate, and/or according to established procedures
  • Represent the ATM Channel in a manner that reflects positively on the image and reputation of the channel
  • Verify that the site environment meets the requirements prior to installation or roll-out
  • Install new systems according to the test plan, certify that the installation or setup of the product meets the test definition of done 
  • Organize and update technical documentation
  • Develop working knowledge of all operating standards, practices, and procedures
  • Analyze and correct all technical problems on equipment within assigned tests; May also perform required modular swaps and unit replacements as needed by the test
  • Responsible for the prompt completion and accuracy of all administrative test components, including assisting in producing, installing modifications and/or upgrades, updating the site management on activities and updating any needed databases
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, overtime, flex shifts and on-call
  • Exposure to enclosed spaces, dust, drafts, and damp areas
  • Responsible for accurate and prompt reporting of test activity, as well as other reporting as required; Responsible for tracking and reporting all expenses incurred in the tests
  • Responsible for capturing detailed test result information and other data required to complete any testing activities
  • 80% travel (air travel is required)

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least two years’ experience in technical service
  • High School Diploma, GED or military experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A+ certification
  • At least 2 years of hands-on ATM repair experience in a customer field environment
  • Associate's Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • At least one year of Systems Architecture  experience (e.g., Client/server architecture, Web based systems)
  • Network and systems management systems/protocols (e.g., Ethernet, LAN/WAN, TCPIP)
  • Bank branch environment experience
