We are seeking an experienced, motivated sound designer to join our growing creative team. As Audio Lead, you will define and execute our strategy for making audio an essential element of Mixed Reality experiences. You will work closely with other creative leads to enhance all aspects of the user experience through original sound design and music composition.

You’ll be called on to:
• Develop the technical and creative vision for audio across a portfolio of first-party Mixed Reality experiences
• Collaborate with creative leads both within our team and across other teams
• Demonstrate creativity while working within specific brand guidelines and tight deadlines
• Manage relationships with third-party audio vendors and technology partners
• Compose original music across a wide variety of styles using expertise in digital audio tools and instruments
• Translate others’ concepts quickly and in a variety of musical styles
• Create and edit SFX in a variety of styles
• Maintain orderly and operational editing systems and files (current and backup)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3 years of professional experience creating sound effects and music for visual media
• Bachelor’s Degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Expertise in DAWs (understanding of signal flow, plug-ins, sound design techniques, mixing & mastering)
• Proficient in Wwise and Unity
• Ability to create high quality sound effects and understanding of the unique approach of designing audio for an interactive environment
• Technical, organized, and creative at the same time
• Excellent written and verbal communication

You will also need:
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Excellent time management, organizational and multitasking skills
• Effective independent problem solving
• An ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, creative, and deadline-driven environment
• Must play well with others; this is a team environment with cross-disciplinary dependencies

Bonus points for:
• Production experience in Music, Voice Over, and Sound Art Installations
• Experience working with Spatial Audio in virtual or mixed reality applications
