Pay Rate/Salary: $18.00-19.00 / Hour

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service by providing solutions via telephone, social media and email regarding the repair, operations and features of the Company's Consumer Audio Products

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve client system and Audio/Visual installation and configuration issues for products such as; receivers, speakers and Blu-ray players

  • Provide first and second level escalation support for problem determination, new installations, upgrades of hardware and software for all support issues

  • Interacts positively with field technicians, Company Dealers, End-Users and internal Company staff

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned


  • Position Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of related experience plus High School Diploma/GED

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of audio terminology and functionality

  • Solid understanding of both Audio/Visual hardware related peripherals

  • Excellent customer services skills with the ability to obtain immediate customer rapport

  • The ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and social media

  • Proficient in computer applications

  • Listening and obtaining clarification of customer issue

  • Responding to customer questions, needs and concerns in an efficient manner

  • Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations

  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with internal and external team members

  • Requires maintaining a professional demeanor at all times; even in very difficult situations

  • Ability to persist in the face of obstacles


  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with consumer electronics.

  • Job progression showing increasing level of responsibility

    The Customer Service Application Specialist position supports and assists consumers by answering questions and troubleshooting technical issues related to the Company�s audio/visual equipment. This position reports directly to the AV Customer Services Supervisor.
