Crowe Horwath is growing, which means we have an exciting opportunity for you! Our Retail Dealership team is seeking to add an Audit Senior Manager in any of the following locations: South Bend, Indianapolis, Chicago, Oak Brook, Columbus, Dallas, Tampa, or San Francisco.



 



As an Audit Senior Manager on our fun, close-knit Retail Dealership audit team, this is what your work entails:




  • Owning the client relationships with a variety of clients within the Retail Dealership (RD) practice. You’ll be the go-to person.

  • Coordinate and perform mainly RD engagements which consist of review, audit, and tax work.

  • Multiple teams will be under your belt. You’ll have to manage them and provide performance feedback to all members of those teams at the conclusion of engagements.

  • Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts effectively.

  • Promoting new ideas and business solutions that result in extended services to existing clients.

  • Play a key role in future business generation by identifying new business opportunities through networking within industry.

  • Keeping abreast of latest developments and the firm's standards and policies.

  • Keeping abreast of industry developments and their effects on client's competitive position.



 




Qualifications


  • 8+ years of recent public accounting firm experience

  • Experience working with dealership clients is required

  • You must be a licensed CPA in the state of the home office or must be able to be licensed in that state

  • Ability to interact with clients, prospects, all levels of staff, and colleagues in a professional fashion

  • Strong skills in maintaining great client service and strong time management skills

  • Experience with engagement management, audit and review skills and staff supervision are required

  • Experience supervising engagement team members and instructing them on completing assigned task

  • Ability to adequately manage multiple engagements with multiple teams

  • Prior experience with business development and the preparation of proposals

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must

  • Strong accounting and auditing skills
