Auto Claims Rep Level I

-MUST HAVE CLAIMS EXPERIENCE! (Medical, Insurance, Home, Auto etc.)
-Answer incoming calls from a queue; respond to/resolve claims in accordance
with department policy/procedure
-Maintain a minimum production average of 6% of queue calls per month, and
quality performance of at least 90% monthly average
-Perform price checking on all tire claims
-Make outbound phone calls to gather missing information
-May be assigned one or more special duties, such as:
o Reviewing pending list monthly and closing inactive claims,
o Reviewing NIS claims to determine if the contract has been entered into
the system and converting those which have to regular claims (If assigned
this task production of queue calls is 5% at 90% along with maintaining
NIS on-time rate of 95%)
o Reviewing DOCS on-line claims
o Price checking key claims
o Dispatching dent claim repairs
o Reviewing Stone Eagle transactions to ensure dealerships unload all
transactions (If assigned this task production of queue calls is 5% at 90%
along with tracking resends to completion each day)
o Daily review of pending reports to ensure all pictures submitted to IAS are
-Keep up to date on department policy/ procedure updates and changes
-Other duties as requested by IAS Management

-Two years of customer service and call center experience
-Proficiency in MS office and Windows-based applications
-High school diploma / GED
-Ability to work independently
-Ability to multi-task
-Proficiency with fax machine, copier, printer, telephone
-Excellent time management skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication
-Excellent dispute resolution/ customer service skills
