  • Responsible for oversight of accurate and timely completion of assigned damage appraisals and the most economical means of repair or replacement, when necessary, helping establish Total Loss values and handling complaints
  • Triage and utilize multiple estimating channel options quickly and efficiently
  • Management of facilities in your assigned territory assuring that training, quality standards and customer service requirements are maintained
  • Reinspection of repaired vehicles and the assessment of repair costs
  • Accountabilities include properly assessing the indemnity and expense exposure, providing outstanding customer service, operating within a team environment, and continuous self-development
  • Also the flexibility to travel when required, to attend meetings and catastrophe duty

Qualifications:
  • For Experienced: An individual with a minimum of two years prior damage estimating experience.
  • Experience/background working in a prior service industry is a plus
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, building credibility and gaining trust while operating with integrity at all times
  • The ideal candidate is self-motivated and able to keep on task with minimal direct supervision
  • Must have MA appraisers license
  • Also the flexibility to travel when required, to attend meetings and catastrophe duty. A Hartford branded company car is provided
  • Must live in the Greater Boston area
