Seeking an Automotive Technician to join our growing team. This person will be performing installation, service, repair, and de-installation activities associated with an in-vehicle data acquisition system (DAS)

Responsibilities include:

  • Installing, repairing, servicing, adjusting, calibrating, fine-tuning, and testing equipment such as cameras and other peripheral devices associated with the DAS

  • Installing communication cables, power distribution cables and wiring, and all other cabling needed to complete project expectations

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of hand tools, powered hand tools, and basic vehicle wiring

  • Demonstrated ability to install electronic equipment in a variety of motor vehicles, including removing and re-installing vehicle trim panels and interaction with vehicle fuse blocks

  • Demonstrated ability to properly create and join electrical cables

  • Ability to work independently or with little supervision

  • Must be able to lift objects of up to 50 pounds unassisted

  • Independently keep shop area clean and in an organized manner at all time

  • Must demonstrate an understanding of the fact that the DAS is being installed to collect important research data, and as such must be installed, configured, and calibrated with utmost attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalism
