Top Three Skills:1.) Basic Experience or Knowledge within the Installation of Audio/Visual Equipment.
2.) Basic understanding of power tools and Low Voltage Cable.
3.) Ability to work with basic tools, (screwdriver, measuring tape, levels etc.) and lift up to 50 pounds.
Job Description: Our Client Our Client requires assist personnel for the installation of Audio Visual Equipment across 32 schools in Anne Arundel County. A/V equipment not limited to interactive SMART boards, wall ceiling mounted Epson projectors, lightspeed Sound Systems and basic low voltage cabling. The Team Lead will work with the individual to establish the installation process and tasks to be performed. Basic job skills include:
-Comfort with working with basic tools, i.e. screwdrivers, measuring devices, levels, possibly drills, etc. All tools will be provided by Our Client.
-They also need to be pro-active and not just stand around waiting to be directed. They need to work closely with the Team Lead and accept direction.
-Shift will vary based on when they start, before June 12th it is M-T 3:30PM-10:30PM, June 12th-August M-T 6:30AM-3:30PM, August-Sept 1 M-F 6:30 AM-3:30PM, After Sept 1 M-T 3:30PM-10:30PM. If techs out would like work Fridays in the beginning, sometimes they will be flexible. .
- Several schools have no air conditioning so it is advised the individual needs to be able to work in high temperature environments.
-The technicians will need reliable transportation throughout Arundel County and Clarksburg, MD.
Additional Information: Extensive background check as they will be working on school premises.
Work Environment: They will be working in extreme conditions at times. Working in the heat as the ac shuts off after school hours.
The technicians are also working in a very fast paced environment in which every minute counts.
