This role is responsible for providing operational database services to the organization and includes the owning, tracking and resolution of database related incidents, problems and requests with the stated SLAs, maintenance and monitoring of critical processes on a daily basis and resolving, escalating or working with the technical engineers to come up with strategic resolution to recurring problems. This role is also responsible for the delivery of new SQL solutions via working in conjunction with the Architecture team.
Responsibilities: Responsible for the following SQL tasks: database upgrades/roadmap across environment, testing, disaster recovery, performance monitoring, tuning, security monitoring, and security maintenance. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking, replication, log shipping, AlwaysOn, connectivity, and security issues. Maintains database performance by calculating optimum values for database parameters; implementing new releases; completing maintenance requirements; evaluating computer operating systems and hardware products. Analyze and study complex application/database requirements to proactively design, plan, and deploy needed capabilities. Performance monitoring and capacity planning, database installation and configuration, database backup & recovery, patch upgrades, security compliance, audit trail monitoring. Schedule and coordinate routine database maintenance tasks while supporting the database projects and users. Translate technical database issues, requirements, limitations and parameters for management and staff, and understand business work processes and business impact. Evaluates and analyze database systems for enhancements design, develop and maintain databases that interact with software applications. Maintain and support existing enterprise applications integration systems and validate of associated work products. Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards. Participate in on-call and off-hours for deployment and production problem resolution activities.

- Minimum 5 years MS SQL 2005 through SQL 2016 experience in SQL, SSIS, SSRS and SSAS.
- Experience with cloud SQL environments

- Experience integrating diverse business systems technologies and business partners.
- Experience creating and modifying work plans using MS Project and MS Project Server.
- Microsoft SQL certification a plus
