Adecco direct-hire group currently has an opening for a 'New-to-the-U.S.' high-end bicycle company to work as a Bicycle Mechanic. Quality is our goal! We are looking for a person who has the ability to build, adjust and repair bicycles of all types to perform their best. The quality of our clients' bicycles is like no other. Their products are used by world renowned athletes across the world and we need your expertise to help maintain this level of quality.
As the Bicycle Mechanic, you will be responsible for the following:
Complete assembly of bicycles including the tuning of gears, brakes and the addition of accessories
Quality testing of bicycles including test riding
Inspection of bicycles when brought in for service to recommend replacement parts and needed service
Maintain all service order records within the ERP computer system
Working closely with colleagues to ensure problem resolution and an accurate supply of parts
A PASSION for cycling and building high-end, quality products
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous experience working on bicycles
Knowledge of the cycling industry is preferred
Excellent customer service skills
