Job Description:

3M is seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative for the SGBG/PSD/3M Fall Protection Business located in Red Wing, Minnesota.

Job Summary:
The person hired for the position of Bilingual Service Representative (Spanish) will guarantee outstanding customer service by providing product knowledge and support to customers and sales representatives.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Provide call center support speaking with established and potential new customers by phone.
Quotes prices and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on delivery schedules and lead times provided by Master Schedulers.
Enters orders taken by phone, fax, or email into computer system.
Offers resolutions to customer complaints.
Provide technical support to customers.
Provide written communications to customers as requested (literature, invoices, credit applications, etc.)
Support field sales representatives by answering questions and ordering product samples.
Occasionally meets with walk-in customers and demonstrates products using samples and catalog.
Answer and assume full responsibility and ownership for incoming calls, faxes and emails from distributor base including the departmental overflow as required.

Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED or higher from an accredited learning institution
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish, written and verbal
  • Minimum one (1) year of call center customer service experience
  • 1-2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • Knowledge and understanding of fall protection business
  • Team player striving for customer satisfaction
  • Proven ability to prioritize, organize and follow-through.
  • Technical service experience interacting with customers
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
