Accountemps Robert Half has partnered with a established distribution company looking to add an exceptional individual to their team as a Billing Specialist. This company has a very modern company culture. This position is evolving, new systems and automation are being put in place that result in changes in the process. In order to be successful in this role, a candidate must have a keen attention to detail, flexibility and strong organizational skills. RIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Generates or verifies customer invoices utilizing purchase orders, bill of ladings, sales orders, pick tickets and price sheets. Audits and verifies actual shipments billed to sales orders and bills of lading in ensure accuracy. Update sales invoice register from sales to accounts receivable on a daily basis. File unpaid customer invoices, electronically or manually as needed. Prepare credit notes to indicate returned or incorrectly billed product. Provide feedback during different system or process implementations and recommend process changes or improvements as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
