Pay Rate/Salary: $55000-65000 / Year
Establish a daily routine of contacting customers with past-due balances and answer questions about account problems, establishing repayment schedules to satisfy debts.
Maintain knowledge of state and federal laws relating to liens, pre-liens, liens release, billing and collection procedures. Establish lien notices on large customer projects as needed, track and release liens when payments are received.
Create company's credit policy including establishing credit risk management environment.
Detailed reporting & analysis of AR to senior management.
Oversee Automated billing procedure and manage billing exceptions daily.
Responsible for all bankruptcy related accounts, credit increases, credit holds, & management of credit & collection efforts, reporting, sending accounts out to third party agencies or attorneys, audits, and managing the credit process for all customers.
Maintain bad debt and bad debt recovery records
Negotiate payment programs or settlements with delinquent customers.
Develop processes and procedures for evaluating customer financials and setting and changing credit lines/limits, as well as credit holds; Implement liens as necessary to major delinquent account
Conduct skip tracing and research to find the consumer and/or the collateral where severely delinquent. Personally visit critical customers to establish relationships.
Manage relationships with collection agencies, repossession companies, auctions, and outside attorneys as needed.
Knowledge of NetSuite or other similar ERPs preferable
Approve/Decline/Adjust lines of credit. Evaluate, provide analysis, conclusions and recommendations to determine credit line amounts and communicate this information to customers and other members of the company
Job Requirements Looking for someone with a good amount of successful collections experience
