Bleeding Disorder Manager, Hemophilia

Responsible for driving hemophilia sales growth through execution of sales strategies. Works with Regional Business Director and home office to identify and develop sales strategy for target accounts. Partners with regional resources to ensure coordination of activities and maximize effectiveness of sales calls. Calls on prospective customers, masters effective sales presentations, provide technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quotes appropriate customer prices. Conducts customer characterizations to enhance selling effectiveness. Relays market activities and dynamics to manager. Adheres to territorial management systems. Works closely with customer operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Promotes the Shire Culture through positive ongoing relationships and activities. Partners with peers/team with strong collaboration.

Duties & Responsibilities
*MUST be willing to work nights/weekends for community educational events
Clinical or science background with a bachelors of science degree minimum
5+ years of successful healthcare sales experience, with 2 years experience in clinically focused specialty sales. Knowledge of / experience in hemophilia highly desirable. Demonstrated business acumen and strong knowledge of sales processes. Ability to detail clinical aspects of hemostasis, inhibitor development, and bleed management in inhibitor patients. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as negotiation and presentation skills. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to thrive both in team and individual contributor settings. Effective at acquiring, analyzing and interpreting customer data to create effective sales strategies.
Comfortable with extensive travel.
