A West LA consumer goods company is in search of a temporary bookkeeper to cover a maternity leave for approximately 4 months. This is a part-time position, requiring a commitment of 20 - 24 hours per week through February 2018. In this role, the bookkeeper is responsible for a variety of accounting related duties including: reviewing and analyzing monthly spend, coding checks, GL review, and data entry. In addition the bookkeeper will assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting. This position reports to the controller, and will work in the Family office of the organization. The ideal bookkeeper has a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role and the ability to maintain confidentiality. This is a highly visible role, requiring excellent communication skills as well as strong analytical proficiency. Knowledge of excel and QuickBooks experience is preferred. The part time bookkeeper is also detail oriented, pro-active, organized, and deadline driven. Days and hours can be flexible for the right candidate and pay is dependent on experience.
