[Part Time Bookkeeper]

Accountemps San Mateo is seeking qualified bookkeepers to work a part time contract role located here in San Mateo Responsibilities and Duties

Pay supplier invoices in a timely manner Take all reasonable discounts on supplier invoices Pay any debt/bills as comes due for payment, including personal for CofO Issue invoices to customers and allocate to appropriate jobs Collect sales taxes from customers and remit them to the government Ensure that past due receivables are reported promptly to management Record cash receipts and make bank deposits Conduct a monthly reconciliation of every bank account and credit card Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy Maintain the petty cash fund Provide information to the external accountant who creates the company's financial statements and taxes Maintain an orderly accounting filing system Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements including 1099's Process payroll and associated government reporting in a timely manner Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested Amazing communication skills
