Adecco Direct Placement is currently recruiting experienced candidates for a Direct Hire Building Maintenance Technician position in Florence, KY with one of our top clients. The Building Maintenance Technician will utilize their technical skills to troubleshoot, handle, repair and prevent maintenance of building equipment. We are seeking candidates with experience and a manufacturing background. This position is an 8-10 hour shift with a starting rate of $15.00/hr with rapid financial advancement along with a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities for the Building Maintenance Technician in Florence, KY include:
Handle all plumbing, general building repair, construction tasks, modifications and upgrades
Repair of all wood related projects
Responsible for snow/ice removal from sidewalks and parking lots
Maintain and repair heating and air related systems
Perform weekly fire system inspections
Ensure a clean and organized work environment
Troubleshoot preventative maintenance to discover potential hazards or breakdowns
Follow all corporate and plant safety compliance rules and regulations
High School Diploma
Mandatory one year previous construction/laborer experience
Basic knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, construction and pneumatics
Basic welding skills, use of hand and power tools
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Able to stand on feet for long periods of time and lift heavy miscellaneous objects
Ability to successfully complete required on-boarding tests
