Business Analysis and Info Senior Manager

This Business Analysis & Information (BAI) Senior Manager will be assigned to support an Amgen therapeutic area within the Intercontinental Region as well as have an active role in the market analysis, sales forecasting and sales reporting processes.
Create productive relationships with assigned regional marketing team to define business priorities and orchestrate the collection, analysis, and communication of market research and strategic insights
Apply structured problem solving approaches to key competitive questions, working with BAI colleagues to integrate results from other BAI disciplines, e.g. competitive intelligence, forecasting and inline products
Independently plan, design, and conduct multiple simultaneous complex projects in support of the regional strategic plans, proactively defining the critical path, anticipating potential obstacles, and recommending actions to keep projects on track
Develop a collaborative relationship with the global and other regional teams to leverage available information and key learning
Manage external vendors and consultants to enable effective project execution
Provide competitive business insights based on project results with actionable recommendations to brand/business stakeholders
Ensure that both routine and ad-hoc projects meet service-level expectations for quality, timeliness, and budget
Support new business development initiatives including in-licensing and acquisitions with market analysis and sales forecasting
Support the preparation and presentation of sales forecasts for pipeline products, as needed
Help develop periodic Latest Estimate (LE) and Long Range Plan (LRP) forecasts and ad-hoc forecasting requests
Travel Required (10-15%)
Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of analytics experience
Master's degree and 4 years of analytics experience
Bachelor's degree and 6 years of analytics experience
Associate's degree and 10 years of analytics experience
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of analytics experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, statistics, social, behavioral sciences or related field, or advanced degree (MS/MBA/PhD)
5+ years of experience, including market research, competitive intelligence and/or market analysis in the biopharma or related healthcare industries
Understanding of global emerging markets
Fluency with global secondary data sources (IMS MIDAS, Cegedim, etc)
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
Strong project management skills. Demonstrated analytical skills with a client service orientation
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Competency/fluency in Spanish
Direct work experience in Latin America, Middle East & Africa regions
Experience within the oncology, cardiovascular or inflammation therapeutic areas, with established networks (suppliers, thought leaders, practitioners, etc.)
Understanding of the evolving market dynamics, and familiarity with key competitors (activities, strategic intent, views, assumptions)
